Job Summary:
The Assistant Center Manager will provide support to the Center Manager of the PACE Center by assisting in coordination of the Interdisciplinary team, oversight of key projects at the Center, and will serve as the stand-in Supervisor in the absence of the Center Manager. This is an exciting new position that will require initial training with the Center Manager with general work hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Upon completion of several months of training, the work schedule will transition to 10:00 am – 7:00 pm.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assists in the scheduling of Interdisciplinary Team assessments based on the applicable CMS regulations relative to timing and frequency.
- Assists in the oversight of care planning activities, including provision of services, updating of the care plan document, and ensuring required participation of Interdisciplinary Team members and participants.
- Assists in cost controlling efforts of the program, including attention to budget, assurance of care coordination between Interdisciplinary Team and external agents.
- Assists in the oversight of PACE Center activities, including PACE center participant attendance, meal services, and recreational activities.
- Assists in the grievance and service determination request processes.
- Participate in and support Quality Improvement initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Serves as a stand-in supervisor in the absence of the Center and Clinical Managers, including direct oversight of Interdisciplinary Team as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated 4-5 years of healthcare management and supervisory oversight.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems and medical documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- CPR and First Aid Certification.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business, Human Services or related field strongly preferred.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in healthcare management is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Patient Care Providers Only: Incumbent must be trained to provide assessment, treatment, or care for patients of all ages with additional education focused on treatment and care of adult and geriatric patients.

Salary: $59,000.00 – $63,000.00 per year
